The basic structure of multistage pump is composed of inlet section, outlet section, middle section, end cap, impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring, stuffing box and other components.
1, the impeller is the core part of the multi-stage pump, it has a high speed and high output, the impeller on the blade and play a major role, the impeller in the assembly before the static balance test. 2、Inlet section, outlet section, middle section, also known as the pump casing, it is the main body of the multi-stage pump. It plays a supporting and fixing role and is connected to the bracket for mounting the bearings.
3、The role of the pump shaft is to connect with the motor by means of a coupling and transmit the torque of the motor to the impeller, so it is the main part to transmit mechanical energy.
4、The bearing is a component set on the pump shaft to support the pump shaft, there are two kinds of rolling bearings and sliding bearings. Rolling bearings use butter as a lubricant to refuel properly generally 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume too much will be hot, too little and loud and hot! Sliding bearings use transparent oil as lubricant, refueling to the oil level line. Too much oil will seep out along the pump shaft and drift cheaply, too little will overheat and burn out the bearings, causing accidents! In the pump running process bearing temperature up to 85 degrees in the general operation in about 60 degrees, if the high should find the reason (whether there are impurities, oil quality is black, whether into the water) and timely processing!
5, sealing ring is also known as leakage reduction ring. The gap between the impeller inlet and the pump casing will cause the water in the high-pressure area of the pump to flow to the low-pressure area through this gap, affecting the water output of the pump and reducing efficiency! Too small a gap will cause the impeller and the pump casing friction to produce wear. In order to increase the return flow resistance to reduce internal leakage, delay the service life of the impeller and pump casing, the inner edge of the pump casing and the impeller outer support combination is equipped with a sealing ring, seal the gap to maintain between 0.25 ~ 1.10mm is appropriate.
6、The stuffing box is mainly composed of packing, water seal ring, packing cylinder, packing gland and water seal tube. The function of the stuffing box is mainly to close the gap between the pump casing and the pump shaft, so that the water inside the pump does not flow to the outside and the air outside does not enter the pump. The vacuum inside the pump is always maintained! When the pump shaft and the packing friction heat will rely on the water seal tube water to the water seal ring to make the packing cool! Keep the normal operation of the pump. So in the process of pump operation tour inspection of the stuffing box is to pay special attention! In about 600 hours of operation, the packing should be replaced.
