G-type single screw pump is a new type of pump that works according to the principle of the great rotation mesh volume, the main working parts are the eccentric screw (rotor) and the fixed bushing (stator). A progressive cavity pump is a volumetric rotor pump, which relies on the volume change of the sealed cavity formed by the screw and bushing to suck in and discharge liquid. The screw pump is characterised by smooth flow, low pressure pulsation, self-priming capability, low noise, high efficiency, long life and reliable operation; its outstanding advantage is that it does not form vortices when conveying media, is not sensitive to the viscosity of the media and can convey high viscosity media.
Screw pump because of its variable conveying, self-priming ability, reversible, can convey solid particles of liquid and other characteristics, in the sewage treatment plant, widely used in the transport of water, wet sludge and flocculant liquid. The selection of screw pumps should follow the principles of economy, reasonableness and reliability. If the design is not well thought out in terms of selection, it will bring trouble to the future use, management and maintenance, so the choice of a production according to the actual needs of a reasonable and reliable screw pump can ensure smooth production, but also to reduce repair costs.
A, daily maintenance.
A-1 check the oil level in the gear box when the screw pump is stopped. If necessary, remove the oil injection screw plug and refuel to the centre of the oil mark.
A-2 Listen for abnormal noise and vibration.
A-3 Check the pump for leaks while the pump is running.
Note: For mechanical seals, in most cases, no leakage is observed from the seal drain hole due to vaporisation, but sometimes a small but steady leakage is allowed.
B-1 For pumps that have been out of service for more than a week, open the inlet and outlet valves, turn on the motor power and tap the pump several times.
B-2 Check that the valves on the inlet and outlet pipes are working properly.
C-1 Check that all the nuts on the foundation and the bolts of the compression device are not loose.
C-2 Install regulations to change the oil in the gear box once every March. Loosen the gearbox drain screw plug and drain the gear oil. Tighten the drain screw, open the oil fill screw and fill with clean light oil to clean the gearbox. After cleaning, open the drain screw, drain the light oil, tighten the drain screw, inject the required gear oil from the oil injection screw to the middle of the oil mark and tighten the oil injection screw.
D-1 Check the alignment of the coupling.
D-2 Check the flow, pressure and power of the pump against the values of the pump and motor. If necessary, in the event of a significant drop in pressure and flow, the pump should be disassembled for servicing and replacement of damaged parts. Of course, if the pump performance is still satisfactory, there is no need to dismantle the pump for repair.
